Tear had grabbed the medicine quickly from her closet. She had been collecting a lot of the different kinds of medicine from the town since there weren't any apple gels here. This stuff was strangely called 'Advil'. What kind of strange name was that? What kind of taste was Advil? The gels she was used to all had specific tastes and colors depending on their name but this was a new and confusing concept to her ( ... )

"I should have just stayed quiet..." Gil muttered to himself, looking at the patterns in the floorboard. He could never have said anything at home, why did he think that the situation might be any different here? And just when he thought things might actually be starting to turn out for the better...

His thoughts were interrupted by a knock and Tear's voice. Instead of saying anything, he stood up and went to the door himself. Upon opening it, he found himself utterly unprepared as far as having anything to say.

The second he tried to say something, the second he looked at her, his bad eye twinged annoyingly and he unconsciously lifted his hand up to it like he always used to. He continued, hardly realizing he was doing it until he was halfway through the sentence, "Sorry to keep you waiting. You can... Um... Come in if you want."

He stood out of the way for her to enter. Thankfully his room was in good arrangement, although the curtains were drawn despite the perpetually sunny weather outside.

Tear looked up to the door as she heard it opening. She stood straight up immidiately like the milatary fool she was. As Gil stepped out she had to tell herself a good 'at ease' to calm down in a sense. Kiiinda pathetic. But he took her off guard. Tear smiled at Gil but as he had held his hand up to his face she worried. "Gil, are you sure your all right?" She asked while walking into his room. After she was comfortably a few feet inside she turned back to him and gave him a serious look of worry, if that was possible to have all in one facial expression. She held up the medicine a little to show him what she had brought almost a kind of reassurance.

"Hm?" he took his hand off his face and lowered it to his side, "Yeah, sorry. Bad eye. It reacts to things... Oddly. Like I said..." he paused, closing his good eye, "...It's nothing new."

There was a bit of an awkward silence until Gil leaned forward, examining the medicine that was being held up to him. He sounded out the word on the front uncertainly, "...Advil? So what is it, exactly?"

Tear sighed. "You like that phrase don't you? 'Nothing new'". She held her hand to her head. Gil was definetly something.

Tear began to open the bottle and sook the end until 2 small pills were in her hand. "It's supposed to help headaches and fevers. I don't know how much it will help your condition but I figured it's better than nothing. Here." Tear held out the two pills in her hand. "Do you have any water or something to drink? You should probably eat something with it too..." Tear's voice trailed off as she looked around the room in search of edable material.

"Well, it's true."

Gil picked up the little pills with minimal contact, as per usual. They were green and kind of see-through. Nothing he'd ever heard of. He was used to herbs and spiritual-based stuff, but he supposed this wasn't too different than...

He forced memories down and instead focused on finding something to go with the medicine. He didn't think there was anything edible around, but--

He took a small step back and his foot bumped against something. A glass of water sitting conviently on the ground next to him. He picked it up cautiosly.

"Ghosts." he muttered, before rather uncerimoniously downing the pills and taking a swig of water. He looked towards the cieling for a moment, then said, "...well, I'm not dead yet. That's a good sign."

Tear took a slight notice into how little contact he had with her. It bugged her a bit. She really didn't like the idea of someone being scared of her but it's not like she could just hug him....that was a stupid thought.

She watched as he downed the pills and smiled as he declared his still being alive. "Do you want me to stay?" She asked kind of nervously. She walked over to the table and placed down the bottle of pills he would probably need some more later. She stood by the table and looked him in the face for an answer.

It was clear that she wanted an answer from him. Gil found himself with little to say. His feelings were honestly conflicted. Had this been at another time, he would have merrily said, 'yes, please, have a seat and let's chat!' or something equally normal, but his instincts were telling him that it probably wasn't a good idea for him to be around anyone right now. Instincts, or paranoia?

But she was looking at him again. He should say something. "Well... Do you want to stay?" he said, just as nervous as she'd sounded moments before.

Tear was a bit suprised he didn't order her to get out. She was kind of relieved after the whole no touchie issue. Tear looked at the ground a moment then looked at Gil in the face again. "I'd like to stay here and see if the medicine helps at all. I hope that's all right with you? And if it isn't trouble, could you explain things a bit more about these demons in your head...?" Her voice grew slowly more and more soft as she trailed off on the subject of the demons in his head or whatever they were. Either way Tear prepared herself for a quick departure. She wasn't truly expecting him to okay the idea of her staying.

"It... Is trouble..." he looked away, towards the bed, "And now that I think of it, I really shouldn't have said anything at all." It would be easy, he figured, he could just ask her to leave, and then he wouldn't have to deal with this. He wouldn't have to think about it. It could be just like how it used to be when he was dodging the problem. But then again, how had that turned out...?

Fire broke the silence with an encouraging squeak from the edge of the bed he was sitting on. Then he hopped down and walked between the two, making his way to the table, where he whipped out a marker and a piece of paper. Gil sighed and ran his hand through his hair for a second, "...but you've been nothing but help, and I guess I owe you some sort of explanation other than the idea I've got demons in my head."

His eye twinged again, but he ignored it to the best of his ability, "Besides, Fire's been wanting to meet you too."

The dragon, Fire, then walked back up to Tear and held up a sign that read, "Hello, you're that woman that helped Master a ( ... )

Tear didn't even notice the dragon there earlier. She had never seen something like that in her LIFE! She'd seen large birds, ligers, cheagles and god knows what else but this was new to her and it was so adorable! Tear's cheeks turned a slight red and she held her hand up to her mouth. "It's so cute..." She whispered to herself. It reminded her a lot of Mieu. Poor Mieu, with Jade here that left him and Anise to fight Van. They didn't stand a chance. Oooh, great thought. Okay back to Gil. His head, right, his head. Anything but thinking about Van right now.

"So your Fire? It's nice to meet you, I'm Tear." She smiled at it and bent forward to shake it's hand, er paw? Claws? Liiiimb? Sure, limb. Though, this seemed a little awkward but after being around Mieu so much this was nothing. Or at least more normal.
