Though the parts which keep it attached to the ground and trees are not sticky and binding, it becomes more and more difficult to navigate as one reaches the middle, where those who have been grabbed will be placed.

[just as Zero was amongst the endless hoard of zombies, a rather easy endeavor for the Maverick Hunter, THAT thing had to show up! and then snatch up a human to take to her web. he knew what spiders were supposed to do. he also knew what a spider of that size could do. have Zero giving chase, cutting through zombies that would be far too weak to tear through his armor to begin with, with the occassional blast from his Z-Buster. forces conjured up by a magical castle; it was so illogical... for now he had no choice but to believe until things settled down]
