[Walking along, he senses something coming towards him and reaches up to pluck the tape out of the air before it hits him.]

[it probably didn't help that it, like...buzzed. Hmm. Not as stealthy as he thought they would be. But at least it almost hit the target! That was a plus. Watch out, that tape is very sticky]

Bella was walking by the kitchen when she saw one of them flying towards her. She whipped out her wand and incinerated it, before looking around with an eyebrow arched. Surely they weren't flying of their own accord.

[haha, yes! Billy can't help but grin a little as that little tape ball hones in on that beautiful target and--mostly--heads right for it. Plink! A moment later, Mr. Author man has a bright yellow ball of tape stuck pretty much on the very top of his hat!]

[keeps walking. gets to the floor map by the door and pauses to look it over, idly. reaches up to adjust his hat and --]

[oh yeah. He's gonna be chuckling about this for a while, especially with the mental image of what that wind outside is going to do with her hair and that tapeball. Whoo, that made his day.]

[Subaru has a lot of hair. It just... sticks way up in the back like a crazy thing. So he's short, but definitely not hard to hit. orz;; He's just trying to take some cereal back up to his room!]

[for once, Billy has no problems hitting a kid with one of his inventions. Especially one with a perfect nesting spot of hair! He watches eagerly as the homing beacon picks up on the kid and sends the tape-ball rocketing towards him. ...He then gasps as, at the last moment, the propulsion system does something silly, and the thing's trajectory whips around and sticks the tape ball right to the kid's goggles (or forehead?) ...oops.]

[Subaru just barely catches sight of something whipping around his head and starts flailing a little, but... huh? It's gone again? He hasn't noticed anything sticking to his head yet...]
