[ Those listening to their journals at this point will hear and odd sort of whirring noise followed by a small thud and the sound of a door creaking open. ]

Well. Unless Woman Wept got a new sun and became populated since the last time I visited, I'm not where I'm supposed to be. Where'd you drop me off this time, old girl?

[in her shared room with Captain Malcolm Reynolds she's trying to write her paragraph for this newspaper -- thing, but she's easily distracted, and even more so when she hears the Doctor through the pages. She'd run to him... but well the heavy ball chain on her ankle is prohibiting that]

Doctor??

[ The screwdriver clicks off and the Doctor's silent and stunned for a moment. ]

Rose! [ You can probably hear his grin it's so big. ]

Of course it's me. Who else would it be?

In this place? You never really can be sure. [she's met two other blokes that looked just like him, plus the human version of him as well]

Get the rundown of this place yet?

I think I've got the general gist of it, yeah. Giant sentient castle with supposedly supernatural properties throwing a temper tantrum and becoming a nexus that you can't exactly get out of.

Although, I'm still trying to work out what it is I've lost.

Well that seems pretty accurate, and look at you already trying to track down your loss. You remember me, so that's good. What about Donna? Martha? Those sound familiar?

thosethatrun October 18 2009, 04:18:18 UTC
Yup. I remember then both.

Right, those are the easy ones. Jack? My Mum Jackie? Dad Pete?

Figure you've got memories of your prior regenerations? All nine of them?

thosethatrun October 18 2009, 04:28:58 UTC
Yeah, remember all of them. And all my regenerations. They're... a bit fuzzy at parts, but I remember them all. Blimey it's hard to find something you've forgotten if you don't remember forgetting it.

Sometimes it's not a memory, could be a skill or an ability? Some even lose their sense of smell or ability to speak.

[speaking of...] Lucy's here. Saxon? She can't speak. That's her loss.

The Master's wife is here?

... How is she? [ It's a bit strange, to be thinking about her again, but he can't help but wonder if maybe this place had done some good for her and gotten her free from her late husband. ]

Yeah, he's not though. Not anymore. She'd had those memories locked up I think too, was going by her maiden name for a while. It's a bit confusing now, and I'm not really sure how she's doing.

She's got friends here though.

That's good, then, that she's here without him.

Does that mean you know about... all that?

I've gotten bits and pieces of it. Not the whole story from your side, but mean there was a bit I learned about because of what I was doing as well with Torchwood in London, in the parallel world. Events that made an impact on all the worlds when Donna was being used.

[ And this would be his mind screeching to a halt at something he doesn't recognize. ]

Torchwood?
