[So Max isn't a foreigner to the whole roommate dealio. She's had a few over the years because squatting together is way better and safer than squatting alone. Waking up in the same bed though, is more than a little awkward, so Max was pretty grateful that she had stealth skills and didn't wake up the girl in question.

Whatever. She'll take the couch for the rest of however long this lasts, and she doesn't sleep much anyway, so it works. She's up in the kitchen, cooking, because wow, she hasn't had to actually make breakfast for herself in what seems like the longest time, and she doesn't actually speak until she hears what has to be the girl shifting around in there, finally joining the land of the living.]
