[Having arrived in this strange place, Lau is quick to find the notebook. He looks it over curiously, before chuckling and beginning to write in it. There wasn't much else for him to do right now, considering his predicament.]
It seems I've strayed from my path, and quite a ways at that. The last thing I was doing was stroking my cute sister's hair while the carriage we were in was taking us to the Phantomhive Estate, since I had some important news to discuss with the Earl. However, I seem to be in some place entirely different from a carriage, or the estate, in fact, so different I had thought that I might be dreaming. As a man who sells dreams to those less fortunate, I was a bit more than confused. Well, I've deduced this isn't a dream, and it means I finally must face my trials in this forsaken castle, where souls cannot turn back but only head deeper into the dark.
[He stops writing for only a moment, sliding his fingers over the pages, and continues.]
So? Where is this? I suppose I'm on my own in figuring it out.
