Why does this have to be so difficult? Half the castle wants me to kill him, and the other half wants me to save him! I mean, of course I don't want to kill him. And Yuan said it would take time, I know that. But what happens if he does start attacking people? Wouldn't it be my fault? Wouldn't it be my obligation to protect them from him? But how can I do that?
This is so irritating. I knew that if this ever happened I would have to be patient, that I would have to work my ass off to get him back. But it's quickly becoming obvious how much I don't know the him from before. Is that the real him, then? After all, he would have never changed had he not been stuck here.
I have to keep trying. I know that much. But what am I supposed to do?

So when are you taking me out to dinner?

[the sound of some pages much bigger than those of the journal's being flipped, followed by some scribbling]
... A large incision? No thanks. The other type definitely seems more reasonable ...
[Ino is sitting the wrong way (legs over one armrest, and her head against the other) in a big chair in the library, poring over a surprisingly boring looking medical book. There's a pile of three or four more books on the floor next to her, as well. She's got a pen tucked behind her ear and a few pieces of paper on hand with some notes on them, too. Feel free to poke her and ask her what in the world she's doing~]
