[is downstairs in the kitchen. eating cereal. he found something he could eat. UNFORTUNATELY the hand with the spoon goes invisible. again. and it hits the journal. there's now milk on the page. and he'll go ahead and hide that hand behind his back until it goes back to being there.]

[Carly is still getting used to these journals, and when she sees the milk spreading across the page, she's kind of impressed. And confused.]

Uh...I just dropped the spoon. It's an accident? [pauses looks at it] Doesn't look bad though.

Either way, it kind of has a weird, cool shape going. My brother's an artist, so I'm used to seeing unconventional art all the time.

[Splashes a bit of her grape juice onto the page.]

My sister wants to be a psychiatrist. ...Or something.

[watches it] Looks pretty cool.

Whoa. Is she super brainy or something? Does she try to analyze your thoughts?

[Looks down] This kinda looks like an ink blot test. You could be the person who makes those!

I think she tries to keep from uh..."poisoning my impressionable young mind"? She is, but she can act like a snob about it.

[tilts his head] They pay people to make those?

Someone has to make them, right? Those ink blots don't spill themselves. At least, I wouldn't think they would.

I guess that's true... Weird thing to pay a person for though. You're just spilling ink and folding over the paper. Or...something. I don't really know how that works.

I think if people can get paid to taste test ice cream or play video games, getting paid to spill ink on a piece of paper isn't such a bizarre thing to get paid for, right?

[go flying, try to control my powers...uh...better not.] Explore. There's a game room on one of the floors. It's pretty cool. But there aren't a lot of computer games.
