They're for the people that died... because since everyone's been talking about a party and no one's been organizing one, Teddy's taken it upon himself to deliver cupcakes to the people coming back from the dead. [totally came in to get some water for Shelby, because they just got back from a long walk, so he's got a big golden retriever trotting at his heels. Who... may be interested in cupcakes, so Clark pulls the leash in a bit.]

Wow. What upcoming special event did I miss?

Oh, hey, Clark! Um, I just got bored and decided to make these for the people who're coming back.

That's really thoughtful of you Teddy. [aaand Shelby runs forward to see Teddy] Stay down, Shelby.

I'm sure they'll all appreciate it.

I'd pet her, but... cooking. (Sorry, Shelby.)

Yeah, I hope so. I mean, it's the most I can do just by myself.

Of course. Shelby, stop it.

It's still a lot. I'm not all that good in the kitchen, is there any way I can lend a hand anyway?

Ummm... well, packing them up in plates would help? The finished ones are all over there, with the frosting [he points to the counter on the other side of the oven] and I've got the plates and saran wrap out. It's six for each plate. Any more than that, and I'd go crazy with all these people.

You don't have to, but I'd really appreciate it.

[he ties Shelby's leash to a table leg.] Down. [and once Shelby's curled up on the floor, he goes to wash his hands and then start packaging.]

So how have you been?

[Teddy, for his part, goes back to mixing batter.] I've been okay! I mean, other than getting turned into a cat and coming back. Lost a few friends... not from Cabot... and I've gained a few more.

What about you?

That's good. I honestly can't imagine spending all that time without opposable thumbs, though.

I've been refueling. Doing a lot of thinking and sitting back. All things considered I feel like I could have done more last week.

I mean, it wasn't exactly within the capacity of my kitty-brain to worry about it, but we managed.

Really? I mean, I don't know that much about what went down, but still.
