Tending to the animals and crops, mostly. I've never done it either, but it shouldn't be too bad.

I'm pretty sure most of the animals eat grains. I think cows just graze, though.

Well, there's usually chickens... and sometimes horses...

I think so. [you... don't need to feed the horse in Harvest Moon... so he doesn't really know]
