[Nathan is actually in much better spirits. It's as if a weight has been lifted off of his shoulders hearing that not only are things better back home, but that he actually fixed it. That despite everything he knew that had stacked up against him that it actually works out. It's a relief to say the least. Also he seems to have a pretty decent relationship with his daughter Claire as well, which is amazingly better than it had been before. He's not sure how it all happens but he's glad most of it does. He still feels horrible that it got to that point, and has regrets, but he's just more on the positive side of this now]

Pete mentioned doing something this Sunday. I think it'd be a good idea, all things considered to just try getting back to being a family while we can. I'm going to see if Claire wants to come, and I think Pete will ask Adam. Though I'm not sure on that, I told him he should bring someone, make it feel like there are actually more of us here.

I also haven't talked to you in a bit, just making sure you're okay.

[Inara]

This coming Sunday my brother Pete and I are having a family lunch of sorts. It's Mother's Day, and our mom is actually here. [that is still weird to say]

Anyway I know Pete is fond of you, says that you're like a sister, and I always enjoy your company so if you'd like to join us. I'd be glad to have you.

[Claire]

Pete is having a family get-together on Sunday. I was thinking if you'd like to join us, I'd love to have you there.

Let me know.

[after leaving the messages for the respective people Nathan heads down to the kitchen to see if there are any of Claire's cupcakes left and brings the journal as well]

Well I should've known baked goods wouldn't actually last long in a castle of four-hundred people. [amused]

[ooc: come hassle him in the kitchen. People with notes, Sunday will be implied as I will be flying to Orlando and Peter!writer won't be around either]
