[Shinji is in the lobby, eating some ramen he made and reading a book because. . . he doesn't want to be in his room for once. Omnomnom.]

[ooc: Open post! Anyone who said they wanted to bug him in the CR5 thing can feel free to respond! As can everyone else, obv. Tags may not come until morning.]

[walking by, Ravi notices the pie-making kid from the kitchen! He decides to acknowledge that by pointing at Shinji's book]

You multi-tasking?

Nothing wrong with that, don't mind me. That a good book?

[a brief pause]

I'm Ravi, by the way.

It's interesting. Though, the ideas they have for giant robots seem kind of. . . silly. [fff, as in they aren't Evas :|]

Giant robots?

I bet Komui'd wanna read that. You don't like 'em?

They're a little overrated. . . But, mostly just unrealistic the way people right them.

Yeah? What're realistic giant robots?

Well, um. . . They would have to be made out of some sort of living matter as well as machine. Cyborgs - modeled after human movement. Nothing too flashy. It would need a pilot that could sync their mind with it, because no machine is going to be able to move like a human from controls and buttons. The higher the sync ratio, the better the robot moves. Um. . . And it would need an outside power source or else the energy would run out in just a few minutes. These robots always seem to be able to run around without ever having to plug themselves in.

[a pause]

Wow... Sounds like you really know what you're talking about there. You ever try building one of those?

[quick head shake]

No!! I - um. . . M-My dad. . . did. I just. . . piloted it.
