It seems I haven't been paying enough attention to this journal. I suppose the activities this place offers have served to keep me distracted from it, though other events out of my control have also contributed to that -- but there is no use dwelling into that matter.

It only seems to become more intricate as it goes on.

If it didn't, there would be nothing. All things would become void. Their meaning nullified.

But don't you feel glad about it?

I am unsure.

That's a strange answer.

Most people would definitely be glad for things to continu, wouldn't they? I don't think many would be happy if everything became void.

We would not be aware of our disappearance if we no longer existed.

But you're aware now. Doesn't the thought of death frighten you?

No.

Does it frighten you?

Not really. Still, I'd rather avoid it.

Not being frightened of death does not mean I would welcome it, either.

Still, if it must happen, I would rather it be on my own terms.

Choosing your own death? Hmm.

It may be the only choice I have left.
