[ Gwen paces back and forth in front of the bed in her room. The journal is open but she doesn't realize as she starts to talk to herself. ]

Bloody mad this place! Taking everyone away then brining them back, just glad Jack is our Jack this time. Gotta figure this out.

[ Gwen is going over some of the stuff that has happened here and being stubborn

Not everyone's lucky enough to get the people they lose back. Consider yourself fortunate.

[ Gwen spun around when she heard the voice and found the journal laying open on the bed. ]

Didn't realize that was open. So others don't just come back? Everyone I know seems to come back after they leave.

It happens a lot somehow.

That's right. There's no pattern so far to how the castle brings people in and out. The thing with the ones that do come back is they don't remember ever being here.

This place, [ shakes head ] it's utter madness.

I'm pretty sure you're not going to find much meaning in this place Gwen. I've tried to see what reading back in the book would do, but it just keeps going back further and further.

But there has to be something Jack, I mean how could there not. What about even the first person who arrived here? The first entry in the journal or the local folks here?

Townspeople seem a bit more than just odd. They're quiet, keep to themselves and most anyone that knows anything about this place gets stopped from talking about it. The first journal entry sounds as if it could've been just the first from this volume of the journal.

How do they get stopped? So this goes back much much further then this one journal. Makes you wonder how far back this place really goes.
