[ crosses her legs, trying to conceal a wince at the light pain, before she picks up her cup of tea ]
You know, when we all thought you died... Suboshi was so distraught he didn't know what to do with himself. I can understand that kind of pain. He spoke of you so highly, as did Nakago. You were trusted enough to become a spy, after all.
So when I woke up here and learned you were really alive, I felt relief. Relief that one of our warriors had survived...and of course relieved for Suboshi's sake.
But something's been bothering me. This nagging feeling...that springs up whenever you question one of my orders. I don't come to you for advice. You're not my general. You're a soldier. A soldier who is supposed to be loyal to his priestess.
So I have a question for you. And I want you to be very careful about how you answer.
[His expression softens some at the mention of Suboshi's reaction to his supposed death. Following that moment, his expression is nearly unreadable -- but he does look thoughtful, taking in the information as she gives it.
More than him questioning her orders, she wanted to know where his loyalty was -- didn't she?]
