[the Master wakes up, for once, in his own bedroom! with a WINDOW! he grins to himself and stretches in the bed] Well, well, well. It looks like the castle's decided to favour me even more. I was growing so very weary of being cooped up. [lalala, putting on a nice suit and heading out into the hall - feel free to spot him!]

[Lucy's--idk. Out and about. She comes to a dead halt when she sees the Master]

You've been let out?

[and the Master is currently sporting a set of formal Time Lord robes, thanks to Grace and Caan] The castle seems to have taken pity on me. [sniff] If pity is the correct word.

[she's just staring at the robes--they look so WRONG, and yet right, somehow]

I'd have thought you'd be far away. Surely the Doctors are looking for you.

[you know you want him, Lucy]

The castle's somewhat lacking in places to go, I've found. [have a charming smile of +4 charisma!] Besides, hiding's never been my style. [except for that time he spent hiding under the Citadel, and the time he was hiding from the Time War, and technically hiding from the Doctor when he was Harry Saxon...]

[she does! If only she could remember. Oh what the hell, she's still attracted to his bad boy-ness. She returns the smile]

There's always the mountains. Or the town.

[also, he's hot!] Mountains. [scoff] I had enough of a back to nature experience last week, thank you very much.

[dryly] I wouldn't know, I was a fluffy little kitten the entire time.

Weren't you quite lucky. [she says it dryly, yet with genuine emotion] I was killed.

[nod] I know. To be honest, I'm quite surprised nobody was killed during that dinosaur fiasco.

[somehow, she expected him to care more about that]

As was I.

[hey, he killed Grace] I am glad that you escaped unharmed, though. [he gives her a surprisingly soft smile]

[which makes her feel surprisingly giddy, and which she doesn't understand; she replies with a smile of her own]

I thought you took pleasure in death, no matter whose.

Mm. Not always - for example, not mindless, fanatical slaughter...weeell, unless I had a hand in encouraging it. [yep, that's a bit of a smirk there]

[her smile transforms into a like smirk, one that hints at the devil hiding beneath her skin]

You would have made a lovely Prime Minister. Certainly you wouldn't have been boring.

[a low, rich chuckle] Oh, I assure you, Lucy, boring is the last word anybody would use to describe me.
