[Everyone was woken and rounded up at dawn, and gathered together for a meeting. As soon as it was light enough, they were heading for the docks, where the boat would be.

Sounds like a plan, right? Oh, it's a plan. But it's a long distance and everyone's got to get to that dock, if they want to live. Hope

[This was a nightmare, a complete and total nightmare. The castle, though quirky, had at least been safe. Now, Elle was running for her life from dinosaurs. Or at least she had been running until her foot caught on something and sent her slamming into the ground. As she tried to get up, she could feel the ground shaking.]

Help..[She tried calling out, but the wind was knocked out of her.]

[Hey girlfriend!

Look UP.]

[Elle's eyes widen, and she tries her best to keep from visibly shaking. Did it see her? If she stayed perfectly still would it stomp on by? She couldn't outrun it, the T-Rex was huge.

If she didn't do something, it was going to eat her, but she had no idea what to do.]

[Omigod, omigod you guys,
Loooooks like Elle's gonna get munched on~
If there ever was a perfect buffet, this would quaaaalify,
Omigod, you guys!

The Rex stands there, sniffing. She's not moving so the Rex is having trouble seeing her. Maybe if it waits a second...]

After a minute or two, Elle can breathe again, but having the T-Rex tower over her doesn't make it easy. But then, she gets an idea. Picking up a large rock, she throws it behind her. It bounces along the ground. Hopefully, the dino will think it's food and then she can start running again.]

[Rex may be kind of dumb, but the rock doesn't go far, and the moving pink thing looks a lot yummier than a rock. If Rex was interested in rocks, do you think he'd be here?

Ahem.

The Rex looks at the rock for a second, and then stomps after the girl. You're not getting far, he's coming in to scoop you up--!]

[Elle's running as fast as she can, thankful she isn't wearing heels like some of the other girls are (yay for appropriate losses). But, she can hear the stomps getting louder and where's all that hot air coming from?]

[Moves in for the kill--]

[Duster strikes with blinding speed! Hey Rex, have one of your feet kicked out from under you.]

[stumbles, thank god that stumble had its head going to the side and not plowing into Elle. Rex doesn't fall, though; it'll take a lot more than that to trip up a Rex.]

[He can't take on a T-Rex by himself, not without his thief equipment or his friends, so he joins Elle in running like hell.]

Are you okay?

[sparednothing]

[chasing. you won't get far.]

[preparedforthis]

[No, they won't, at this rate. Duster turns, braces, and meets the oncoming Rex with a flying kick to its nose. Maybe its nose is a weak spot?]

[sparednothing]

[No.

That foot is in Rex's mouth now. He's got you!]

[Not his good leg NOT HIS GOOD LEG he needs that. He swings a kick at the Rex's face with his free leg, all adrenaline. How about a foot in your eye, will that work better?]
