[amused] Now this is my kind of day. Do you think all two billion discovered digits of pi are here? Oooh, what if there were undiscovered digits? I wish I had the time to check.

I think it's a rather nice decoration, really.

[grin] You mean you never hung out with Newton back when he was alive? Dropping an apple on his head sounds right up your alley.

[Wicked chuckle] Oh no, I got them to eat apples, not use them as missiles.

To be honest, I think most geniuses are nutters, even the ones from hundreds of years ago. At least, that's how they come across in books. I dunno, though, might be different with first-hand experience.

[Amused chuckle] You can say that again. Leo obsessed over the tiniest little thing, then forgot all about it once he got bored of it.

God, I'd love to have met him. Talking to him must've been completely brilliant.

Hmm, he certainly was a delight. Completely batty, but still a delight. I enjoyed his company. I have the original sketch of the Mona Lisa back home. He preferred it to the finished piece. He assumed that no one but her husband would ever see it.

I wish I could travel in time - mainly so I could sit down and talk to famous mathematicians.

And the original sketch of the Mona Lisa? Really?

Most of them were the distracted types, and they didn't really get their fame until after they snuffed it.

Yes, it's one of my most treasured possessions. Sentimental value and all that.
