006 - Findings

Since the magical properties of these journals suggest that only I may read what I leave for myself, that would make for a suitable tome to keep my findings in. Records my voice in written and spoken word for me to revisit upon my earliest convenience. And even if I were to be found out...what could these pitiful and meager creatures hope to do against one such as I?

But then, being discovered would put to waste such effort.

They are completely human. Mortal in every way. All the internal organs and muscular make-up that one would expect in a standard, run of the mill human being. They possess no unique energy signatures, no remarkable essences or auras, nothing supernatural in any sense of the word.

Though, remarkably, this one had a soul. Perhaps a fluke? Perhaps not. How very entertaining and fortuitous. My, my, Paradisa, you grow all the more enticing with every passing moment. How you excite me.

The reactions are varied as well. Some professional, some darkly uncaring, some suspicious. The overall tone seems to suggest that this is almost commonplace. How decrepit these residents are. I wonder, would they weep if they knew what I knew? Would they suffer for their indifference if they were aware that these poor, pathetic cattle have souls just like us?

Finally, these humans seems compatible and useful in ways that transcend their miserable existence. Though, since there seem to be no true elves within these halls and rooms, the aspect of creating fully powered homonculi is but a dream. But they are still suitable for more mundane transformations.

All in due time.
