[dictated, because he's just that kind of guy]

Hn. The light from the Crest has grown weaker. You are in this castle somewhere, Eighth Child, and I will find you.

Such a pleasant city there is below the castle. I don't care for most of the conveniences of technology - cars and streetlights and neon signs on businesses open to all hours of the ( Read more... )

A girl with medium-length brown hair who's one of the Digidestined.

...And just what's a Digidestined supposed to be?

[oh god that name sounds so lame...]

A bunch of humans who were drawn to the Digiworld and proceeded to interfere with all the progress we had made on our own.

I know humans are annoying, but.... What's with Digi-this and Digi-that? There's only so much a woman can take.

[so much lameness, in case you werw wondering, lulz]

[his special power is immunity to realizing that he is from the dub of a kids' show]

The Digital World was created from all the lost data in all the computers ever made. Everything has digital origins.

And for your next inevitable question, all Digimon have names ending in "-mon" because we are all classified as Digital Monsters.

I see. And you're one of these... digital monsters? Interesting.

I am Myotismon, and it is my destiny to spread darkness over the Digiworld.

Sounds interesting.

They call me the Apostle of Destruction myself. The Queen of Darkness. I have a similar role, except I'm not limited to some digital plane.

Apostle of Destruction, hmm? Very intriguing. Then perhaps it is also in your interests to prevent the Eighth Child from activating the Crest of Light.

I see no need to bother with other worlds. You may have them.

And what happens when this Eighth Child activates this Crest of Light?

The sky will be darkened by the wings of many bats. The fallen people will invoke the name of the undead Digimon king and when the clock strikes the hour of the beast, the Digimon king will reveal himself in his true form as the beast. Then angels will shoot arrows of hope and light at the loved ones of those they've been sent to protect, and a miracle will happen.

The first part doesn't sound all that bad, really.

Which is why all I need to do is prevent the "arrows of hope and light". Unfortunately, I was only able to obtain one of the two Crests - but as long as I can prevent it from being activated by the Eighth Child, I will have no obstacles in my way.

Then why don't you just destroy it? Then you don't have to worry about killing the Eighth Child or the prophecy being fulfilled.

It is the nature of the Digital World that nothing is ever truly destroyed. If I destroyed the Crest, it would only reform somewhere beyond my control.
