[Peter is in the kitchen making coffee. Yes, he was among the many who did not sleep at all last night. And the clinic staff probably told him to get out of there already and get some fresh air. He's leaning heavily on a crutch since his leg's not quite healed yet. A stifled yawn is recorded]

[Attempting to climb up onto the counter. Being about two foot tall sucks, but there's obviously something with his name on it up there!]

[Peter looks down at the weird-looking... kid? And stops in the coffee-making to offer assistance]

[Manages to get hold of the edge of the counter as he jumps, and ends up just dangling there.]

[helpfully puts Lambo on the counter]

[Have a Lorne wandering in Peter. He gives a cheery wave, moving to sit down at the table]

Hi there, Pete, finally up and about, huh?

Acutally, best just nod or shake your head, there.

[smiles, looking pleased to see his empath buddy, and is about to verbally greet him when Lorne says the 'nod or shake' thing. So he does as instructed and nods]

[And Lorne smiles and nods]

Good to hear it, Pumpkin. Sorry about the nod-thing, the castle's taken away my hearing, isn't that just peachy?

[winces and gives Lorne a sympathetic look. After brief deliberation he limps over to join Lorne. Peter pulls out his journal and pen to write]

I'm sorry. The castle does terrible things like that all the time. [then he helpfully holds up the page in case Lorne doesn't check his journal religiously like Peter does]

[Peter is minding his own business with his coffee. That music is seriously loud and he glances up. Debates over whether to get Sylar's attention or just let him go about his business]

[waves in return. Peter watches with some concern. Sylar does seem to be eating a lot of ice cream lately. Peter sips his coffee in silence for a moment then finally limps over and points Sylar to where the spoons are; Peter knows the kitchen pretty well]

[Oh, look, a speedster. He's eyeing Peter with that characteristic hero-thing.]

No, thanks. I can manage. It isn't as bad as it looks. [meaning the leg obviously]
