[Actually, if he's not remembering doing Emil-like things....]

...Is that you, Ratatosk?

Don't call me by that. I'm Emil.

Mmm-hmm. Listen, I was wondering about the seal on the gate to the Ginnungagap. Do you know if it's ever been broken from the other side? By a demon?

((ooc: Feel free to make stuff up/not remember/change the subject/refuse to answer. ;) And sorry if this posts twice, my connection is being dumb.))

[sarcastic tone] I also wonder why it needs a guardian if no demons have ever broken from the other side.

[Hey, sarcasm's the price for dealing with this guy. She can take it.]

That's what I thought. Thank you.

[Raine taps her pen a few times. She knows she's treading in dangerous waters here.]

...Is there anything I can do for you while you're here?

Shouldn't you already know something like that since you're a...nerd or something?

[Raine;]

Other than leave me the hell alone? I have no idea.

Mm, yes, well, you'd be surprised how much history has been deliberately erased.

[Not gonna happen, pretty boy.]
[Person who claims to be Emil but who we both know is Ratatosk]
[Several lines are crossed out heavily here.]
...Whether I like it or not, you're an essential component of our world and possibly the only one with the knowledge and power to prevent future disasters. Think for a moment what it means that this place represents proof of interdimensional travel and what kind of threat it might mean if any of them decided they wanted to take over our world.

Wonder why.

[Raine; and hey, he takes pride in those lush lashes and silky hair; oh, and don't get me started with his outfits.]

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't happen.
You always do have an overly imaginative mind, Raine.

[The Ratatosk that I thought WASN'T the gay one]
Yeah, you were pretty sure you trusted Mithos, too.

[Raine; oh shi--; don't mind that comment then; lulz] eightpacts January 8 2009, 01:54:49 UTC
[a scowl, but he laughs it off] Yes. You got me there.
But that's why I'm going to rid Aselia of humans and half-elves so nothing like that happens again.

Yes, because they're clearly the only ones who are capable of betrayal. Or will you destroy Aqua too, then?

Look, I know we were responsible for the death of your Tree. I'm not denying that. It was a terrible crime, and I'm not sure any apology will ever be enough. But we're also the ones who helped the new Tree to sprout. yes, people are capable of terrible things. And if you refuse to believe in us when we're trying to do good....

How does that make you any better than the selfish ones who were responsible for the death of the Kharlan Tree in the first place?
