What's the point of keeping this thing around? We lived perfectly fine without these journals before arriving, it shouldn't be any different here. And it seems they're mostly used for whining of all sorts, anyhow.

Is it normal for the ghosts to not arrive when summoned? I never got my tea this morning. Not that it was too much of a hassle to go down to the kitchen myself, but it seems a little strange.
