[ All recorded~ There's noise and pandemonium all around the village as Kyuubi continues his attack, and the roaring can be heard much more clearly as it advances. Leon's voice gets picked up as he's running through the village, directing people towards Hokage mountain and away from Kyuubi. ]
[ footsteps as Leon stops and frowns, spotting Uru with...are those kids? and runs over to her ]
[ rushed footsteps, Uru's voice is slightly shakey but telling the children it'll be alright soon. She hurries forward but stops when she spots Leon ]
L--Leon-san?
What are you doing here?
I should be asking you that. [ he continues frowning as he counts the kids, before kneeling down to pick one up and give him/her an emergency piggyback ride ] I would ask you some questions, but we need to get these kids out of here now.
I'm trying to get them to where Ino-chan said to go. Some place behind a mountain...
[ a long pause, staring in the direction of where the Kyuubi is wreaking havoc ]
What... what is that thing?
Yeah, Hokage Mountain. [ points towards the mountain, ushering several kids in the direction of it ]
...... No idea. And right now, we don't need to know. We just need to go and get to safety. [ starts taking steps forward ]
[ doesn't pay attention to that, notices a random kid just a couple meters away from where she and Leon are standing ]
Hey--
[ takes step forward ]
Hey, it's dangerous!!
[ dumps the rest of the kids on Leon and Uru darts off towards the kid ]
[ suddenly A TON-- ER the rest of the kids get dumped on Leon wtf ]
What the hell?! [ looks and spots Uru going for the random kid, and has the oldest of the kids start going towards the mountain, leading some of the others ]
Uru! Hurry up and get back over here!
Hang on a second!
[ she manages to get to the kid ]
You! Don't worry, I'll... watch out!!
[ there is a loud boom and Uru's gasp gets cut short. Something thuds heavily on the ground ]
[ just happened to look away for a second to make sure the kids were going in the right direction just as Uru was killed, and looks back to see her falling ]
Damnit-- Uru!!? [ puts the kid down and sends him/her off with the rest, rushing over quickly and seeing the slash wounds on her chest ]
...damnit. You help too much. [ rustling gets picked up as he takes off his jacket and puts it over her body, making sure her eyes are closed before he grabs the kid to go off, the journal slipping from his grasp and dropping a few feet away from Uru's body ]
