Why should I? I'm almost untouchable, and I've never been humiliated in my life. There's no need to begin now.

Never? If you were humiliated say. . .your power was taken away from you, would you understand?

Begin what? I was bored, so a civil conversation would break the monotony.

I take great pride in my bending abilities, but to lose them is not embarrassing. I am adaptable. There is always another way to maim someone.

By "begin with", I meant "there's no need to begin being humiliated and feeling pain." It just isn't worth my while. Unfortunately, though, most residents of this castle prefer a battle of brute strength instead of conversation.
