This castle is supposed to give you anything you want, is that what I've been hearing lately? And it's also supposed to have taken something from everyone when they arrived, right? So what's to keep people from regaining what was lost? Or for that matter, just wishing their way right out of this place?

It seems to me that the only thing the castle will grant is materialistic, 'pleasure' items. Never something you actually need.

A few items of personal value appeared suddenly infront of some people. The items were small things. If the castle didn't want to keep us here I'd imagine it would do more to make us less happy than to keep us momentarily satisfied.
