[ Left Untranslated, in Chinese ]

I can understand becoming bored here fairly easily, if you aren't used to training yourself or otherwise occupying your hours with decent pursuits. There are plenty of nooks around the castle to take over for such purposes - in fact, a few great ones for tournaments, though I doubt the people here are as inclined to actual tests of strength and ingenuity in the body over pointless angry battles. The uncultured emotion is really only embarrassing.

I've encountered someone who claims to be Ranma - and he is vaguely familiar, but aside from some facial structure similarities and a name, he isn't the woman I've sworn to kill. How inconvenient; though I am suspecting there is more to his being here than I know. People in Paradisa lose something, don't they? And I haven't felt the loss of anything, which could mean either the loss was more internalized, something unnecessary, or something I no longer remember. I neither appreciate nor suspect the last.

The mention of the holiday of Valentine's was distracting enough in the pursuit of the woman known as Ranma that I spent a good few hours reading in the library. The idea seems preposterous - why would an Amazon join in on such an event? We don't date, and when we're engaged, certainly there doesn't need to be limits to showerings of affections. Then again, looking at origins in these places which are not China, I think I begin to understand. The courting rituals of the world, and worlds, at large are so roundabout. Isn't the purpose to perpetuate the next generation anyhow? Strong bonds, of love or ability, are more worthwhile. In that sense, I suppose there is some worth in thinking of this tradition as just another little competition of sorts. Indirect and largely ineffective; not at all like the Amazonian thought-process. I don't expect otherwise from such backwardly "civilized" countries. Not to say I'd object to the recieving end. Candy has its benefits.

In the meantime, I'll continue to observe the male Ranma. I can swear that he's hiding her. I will find out, sooner or later.

[ End ]

Shampoo is most curious. Is persons finding things lost very different than remembered? Is finding anythings lost returning? If no, Shampoo no fond of idea.

Hearing of Valentine's, Shampoo find books in library. Is most unusual practice. Very stupid. Make chocolate for persons no know? Male persons? Is Japanese tradition, is United States tradition - Shampoo more like United States. Or is White Day here too? Shampoo no object being given chocolates. Enjoys sweet things, yes.

Locate one Ranma. Most vexing; she no she, is he! Is no Red Haired Girl Shampoo seek. Shampoo most unglad male Ranma is not tell where remale Ranma hide. Will learn, sooner.

Any is interested in relaxing training? Or basic defense of self? Is simple, soothing. Eitherways, is Shampoo going to practice these former later. Is all welcome join, yes. Find in courtyard, if look.

Ranma imposter, if willing tell of real Ranma, may arrive and be spared.

[[ ooc: Note; From what I understand, the journals freely translate language to that any might understand. In this case, Shampoo hasn't figured out everyone isn't speaking in the same language, and is writing in Chinese almost introspectively. Sort of a language filter that requires a reader to want it translated, if that makes sense? ]]
