[And with that confirmed he bounces around happily, setting things up and making sure Felix's gift was properly set in its box for presentation.

Felix arrives at their room in a reasonably punctual fashion. He's curious about what Ashura is up to.]

[He arches a brow, but smiles]

You've been busy, I see. What are we having?

Roasted duck with lemon, fresh vegetables, and fruit tarts.

[He smiles, leading his fiance to their dinner area where indeed the dinner had been laid out and ready for them.]

[He wanders over to the table, taking in the smell with an appreciative dip of his eyelids]

Some days I think you're just doing this to keep the ghosts on their toes.

Well, they do need more things to do than wander about and look depressing.

[He smirks, ushering him to a seat.]

Sit, sit!

[He took his own, giving off signals that he wanted to fidget in excitement, but was reserving himself as they tucked into their meal.]

[Felix smiled and did as he was told, sensing the quiet tension that Ashura was holding in check and quietly amused by that fact. Rather than delay, he proceeded to eat quickly, his curiosity growing every second]

[Ashura kept up polite conversation for a time, but finally could not stand it. He rose and took up a box he had hidden beneath a dish cover on the side table. He placed it before Felix, beaming.

Inside would be a ring. It was gold and artfully crafted so that it seemed a phoenix and leaves like those of Felix's tattoos were twining. The phoenix arched on the top, wings encircling an emerald stone. On the inside band of the ring, it read - To my love, Ashura.]
