for me its been a year. since *that* date i mean. the 3 months i spent in jail + the 9 months ive spent here. it feels pretty strange really. the castle brought us to paris (yes that paris) and the calendars all say 2011. it also gave me my job back and a lot of money and a nice place to live. nicer than the dump in inaba. being here with all this on the day everything ended feels so weird. im sure the castle did it on purpose- even the nicest things it does arent really nice in the end. showing me the life i couldve had if i hadnt fucked everything up is pretty nasty actually

anyway point is ive had a lot of time to think and i wanted to tell you something in case i leave and have to start all over again

weve screwed up everything. but what you might not realize is this is a second chance for us. you should enjoy it while you can and try not to royally ruin everything like youve ruined the rest of your life
since you have to start all over again let me tell you about some people you should seek out provided they havent been sent home either
-colette just [pause] go to her. or if anything shell probably come to you. dont push her away for once dont push someone away. just trust me on this. shes seen your brain. shes seen your shadow even if she doesnt understand what it was. right now she doesnt know everything though. seek her out if you need anything. shell definitely help you.
-courage hes a dog and a really good dog. he saved your life the last time you were here and likes you a lot for whatever reason. if you kick him i swear to fuck you really are the dumbest piece of shit
-nepeta shes kinda weird shes an alien who always writes in green and makes cat puns and has grey skin and horns and weirdest of all she thinks youre a good person. dont waste that
most of the troll kids are cool but nepetas helped you the most. vriska is another one to check out. keep your ties away from terezi
-fluttershy shes a pony. no really. but shes nice. and likes you. for whatever dumb reason.
-uru another nice girl who keeps talking to you even though you cant even begin to understand why any of these people talk to a horrible person like you who doesnt deserve their kindness to begin with
there are some other people too but these are the ones most likely to actually remember and approach you [makes a note on the side of the margin: add more later if need to]
also about the kids: avoid if you can. not all are going to break your face in some have been surprisingly civil. but they come and go. see how they react to you first and for crying out loud do not antagonize them
dont ignore nanako. if youre from where im from then i know you think thats best. but dont. shes starting to warm up to you again. work at it. shes a good kid and this place has put her through a lot. if she ends up all alone again then youll just have to do your best to be there for her
