[Ray's actually really loving his Parisian life - he's got a cozy little apartment with enough space that he can have friends over if they want or need to crash, but more importantly, he has his old bookstore. or, really, as close to it as he can get, and most of the books are in French. thanks to the castle, though, he can read them all just as fluently.
the shop itself is decked out for the holidays as best as it can be amid the clutter - there's a small ceramic tree with lights in it sitting on the counter, and garlands of real holly here and there where they can be pinned or tucked. quiet, mellow New Age music (think Loreena McKennitt and Enya) drift between the stacks, and overall, if anyone wanders in, it's a very zen, calm, inviting place to be. especially if you like BOOKS.]
Well, hey, everybody, happy Yule! It's the shortest day of the year, so that means that the days are going to be getting longer from here on out. More daylight to go out and do all this fantastic sightseeing! ... I was thinking of taking a trip to the catacombs, seeing if I could get any ghost sightings in ... I mean, I've always wanted to go see them, so why not take the chance while I've got it? Does anyone want to go with me?
[Kids Filter - minus that snobby kid who thought he was better than everyone except his princess, ugh]
Also: I know we're not in the castle anymore, but that doesn't mean you can't still send letters to Santa! If you want to send them care of Ray's Occult Books, or just filter to me, I'll make sure they get to the North Pole!

And oh, hey - I've got a hot plate and some tea going, if anyone wants to come stop in and say hi. Ray's Occult Books, 18 Rue de Phantomas. I'd love to hear what you're all up to!
