[if anyone is in a random park today, they might spot a homeless person (who may look familiar to a few of you) sitting on a bench and who's also getting a few weird looks from passersby.

coming closer reveals that Dextera seems to have set up a bit of a painting area for himself, but he's not exactly painting the scenery. two finished paintings

Dextera, what is all this?

[he looks up when Felix speaks but back down at the question before getting his journal.]

Paintings. [really morbid ones. it's pretty obvious that Dextera's world played a hand in his paintings, though the one he was currently working on - Death - was a special case.]

[He comes up to peer at the paintings, a bit disturbed, and looked back at Felix with a slight questioning brow, but did not comment on them to much.]

How long have you been out here, Dextera?

Not that long, I don't think. I tried staying in warm places, but it didn't work.

[Felix, meanwhile is frowning at the paintings, inspecting the one the boy was working on in particular]

Well, you can forget about that. You're coming back with us.

[Ashura nodded at that. They had a spare room, and the boy should not be allowed to remain on the streets.

He motioned for Dextera to gather his things and come with them, though he was of the opinion the paintings should remain behind... morbid as they were.]

I was trying to, but I don't think it's working. [and he actually didn't know why.

Dextera catches the look on Felix's face and goes about cleaning up, hoping no one would ask him about it. that particular Meta-Being was a story he really didn't want to get into.]

Maybe you need a change of venue. You should talk to Nora. She's working as an artist here. [He's not making any move to help. Sorry Dextera]

[he doesn't mind getting no help. he's a bit too preoccupied trying to find a way to fit the paintings in his bad and failing horribly.]

[Felix might not help, but Ashura will. He comes over to hold open the bag for him, glancing worriedly again at Felix.]

I think first, though, we should get something warm into you, hmm? How long have you been out here?

Not that long. [though it doesn't take a genius to notice he is both shivering and lying.]
