Discovery (Backdated)
[To say Damian is pissed off is an understatement.
They've been lied to for months. He's let his guard down countless times in front of an enemy. He let it slip under his nose, complaining about having to deal with a father who didn't remember being Batman the entire time, while too enamored with the idea that he has a father who remembers him and wants him to really examine what was going on.
He'd been duped, in a way that felt entirely unsettling.
He feels like he's going to throw up, but he pushes that feeling down and steels himself. There's stuff to do. He carefully puts Hush's make-up and surgery kit back in place and heads back to his bedroom to put his utility belt on. He pulls the bottom hoodie down to conceal it and picks up his cellphone.
He texts Stephanie: lose him and rendezvous in 5 minutes on roof.
Damian heads upstairs, and silently vows to make Hush pay for this deception, by any means necessary.]
