[Dairine's voice picks up, aimed at Spot.] Don't you start that again! You just got that fixed!
[And the journal slams shut as Dairine runs off, hurrying through the halls with Spot, looking for Aradia. Because obviously when someone starts rambling about the apocalypse the correct response is run towards them.]
Aradia can be found in the industrial-sized kitchen, telekinetically hurling an industrial freezer out the window. The rest of the place is already a mess!]
[ Dairine comes rushing into the room. Seeing the destruction, she puts up a shield spell, something strong enough to take a good beating. Then shouts.]
[Yes she does, but Dairine isn't going to back down. Not now. She's giving Aradia an equally pissed off expression, one that clearly means business.]
I wouldn't count on it! [Dairine throws a bolt of electricity directly towards Aradia, then immediately strengthens her shield. Because either that bolt hits or sets off an explosion from the gas. The room's already in pieces so what harm could a little more do?]
[WHAT IS IT WITH YOU GUYS AND YOUR LIGHTNING ATTACKS, GOD. Aradia partly shields herself by interposing a prep table, dumping its contents on the floor in the process, but she still takes notable damage.
Also, it sets off an explosion. There's not a ton of gas, so it's not huge, but it's noisy and puts out quite a bit of shrapnel nonetheless. The concussion wave and heat actually do her more damage than the lightning did.
This is no longer a constructive place to be, she'll just lose time faster. The power's hurting her already, she doesn't need to be on fire on top of that. Sooo while the room is still blazing, she flies out the broken window to continue her destruction spree somewhere else.]
The blast pushes Dairine back a bit, but the shield holds. She is focusing most of her energy on adjusting her shield to block the heat and light from the fire. So when Aradia leaves, her response time is just a little too slow.]
Wait!! [Dairine rushes to the window, looking out. No luck. She's lost sight of her. Dairine'll just have to put out the fires and hope Aradia doesn't hurt anyone... or herself.]
[Spot looks at the journal, and in a somewhat concerned mechanical voice speaks.]
