79 Swords in the Stone

This had better be wonderful, Morgana, because this is the last thing I would like to be doing.

[He's lounging on Morgana's bed, waiting for her to finish getting ready, idly picking at the loose threads on her bedspread and occasionally batting her kitten's paws with his index finger] It was the worst date of birth I'd ever had, it has beaten the ( Read more... )

[ Hey it isn't her fault he was off being chased by a cave monster on his birthday, if he wasn't they certainly wouldn't be having this problem. She laughs softly, shaking her head as she packs his present into a nice small chest (that can be used again). ]

It truly does sound terrible if it managed to beat that year.

[ It was task within itself trying to get something for him, she was almost tempted to get him a blow up dragon or something equally as ridiculous, until she happened upon the bracelet that nose lays in the chest. Arthur's not really the jewelry sort, but even so she had a feeling he would like it. ]

Just be happy I am not throwing up a large feast to celebrate.

[ She places the chest in front of his seat at the table, which is adorned with nice amount of red candles, silver ware and several platters that underneath the dome house some of his favorite dishes. ]

Although you won't be getting anything lounging on my bed. [ YOU'RE MESSING UP THE SHEETS, GET UP. ]

[And don't forget the earthquake! If she had only come with him she would understand this problem and not insist on stuff like this. All the unfair ;;]

I would not recommend the experience for anyone. The ground should stay where it is.

I'm thankful for small mercies, of course. It isn't as if you have done so any other year.

[He'll just smirk a little, and stay where he is. MAYBE IF YOU WEREN'T SO BORING HE WOULDN'T HAVE TO] Did you cook that?

[ Nope, she'd still probably insist on it. There would be no way he could avoid it. ]

I may have the time to plan such things but that does not mean I have the skill. It is best to leave feasts to those who knows how to plan them.

[ She sighs moving over to her bed, crossing her arms underneath her chest. ] No, although I did try once. The attempt was an utter failure. Now can you please get up? [ She'll be uncrossing her arms in order to grab a hold of his wrist and tug him up. ]

[You are the cruelest. Why does he still make an effort to hang out with you again?]

You will not be convincing anyone else to do so, either.

[Like ever. If you do, you can join Gwaine in the broken up category] ...What on Earth had you attempted to make?

[He'll let himself become dead weight a little bit, still smirking in amusement, before scooping up the cat and pretending to let her pull him to his feet] Since you asked so kindly.

[ Because she is practically family and you adore her. ]

Worry not, Arthur. I would never do such a thing to do. [ Perhaps. But she is not against dropping hints to others. B)

She tenses a little, glancing at a wall before looking back at Arthur. Can we not talk about her failure at cooking? ] It does not matter, know only that it had to retire to the rubbish and I will never be attempting to do so again.

[ What a jerk. She frowns a little and attempts to pull him up some, while she is not as strong as he she does manages to lip him up some. ] This would be faster if you contributed to moving, Arthur.

[There must be something wrong with him. What are the chances he was dropped on his head as an infant?]

You wish me to believe you, I suppose? [You dirty lying wench :|] You brought it up, Morgana. I think it matters plenty, and you should tell me the story in it's entirety.

[Because this is amusing as HELL. Fine, he'll contribute. As slowly as he can possibly manage] Better?

[ Very high. ]

Of course. [ IT'S NOT LYING!! ] It will have to wait for another time, you already have enough things to poke fun at me for.

[ She sighs and tugs him up a little more. He's the worst person ever, she should just drop him. ] Not at all.

[/sob daddy y u no love me]

And I'm certain you would find it hurtful, if I did not? [Or pretend to anyway, of course he doesn't believe you. You love to torment him like all good sisters do] But I haven't gotten any no material do so with in so long. It would make an adequate birthday gift. Likely better than what you have honestly purchased for me.

[Oh no, to be dropped on a big fluffy bed, the horror. He'll finally get up properly, still dragging it out a little and being a generally loving nuisance] And how about now?

[ Because he's a jerk. ]

Naturally, it would hurt me deeply. [ Yeah, she does love to torment you dearest brother. Because she cares. ] It certainly would not, the gift I have purchased for you is far greater than stories of my failures.

[ That allows her to pull him mostly to his feet, huffing in obvious annoyance (fondness clearly visible despite it). ] You are a frustrating, obnoxious, and infuriating prat. I do hope you realize this. [ And she adores him no less for it. ]
