This might be a stupid question, but... is it possible for a guy who came from a world without magic, to learn magic here?

Not as far as I am aware. My studies so far seem to indicate that all the magic users here are born with the ability to channel the required energy.

Within reason. It can be dangerous to hand power like that around, and I think if there is any person here who can teach such a thing, they may be reluctant to share. Not to quell your enthusiasm - I encourage understanding and open-mindedness when it comes to magic - but actually having magic comes with it's own set of responsibilities.

Mmm... Yeah, I can understand that. I just wish... there was a better way for people to defend themselves, if they don't have magic or can't change into dragons or any of that crap.

I'm not an expert on magic, but I wouldn't say that there's no chance. After all, for all you know magic does exist in your world...you just don't see it.

You never know, though. In my world, a lot of people live their entire lives without ever seeing magic or knowing it exists.
