[There's the sound of page flipping, but not from the journal. Heck yes non magic book!]
Reading a little about this holiday, it looks like today is the day traditionally spent worshiping the Gods. [A pause.] Whichever ones you happen to be familiar with, of course.
I have to say that finding all these names of foreign deities is a little daunting, especially since some are rather similar to those from my world. Are they related, or are they the same being? It's really hard to say sometimes, though I hardly think they would admit much in regards to the matter at all. [There's another pause, followed by a slight chuckle.] Actually, it would depend on which God or Goddess you ask. I can think of one or two who would certainly make at least a vague mention of something to taunt you.
[Daine falls silent now, thinking on something a little more.]
This way of thinking is making me miss home a little more now. I don't suppose others have [...] experiences with Gods back home?
