[ Snuffling and then a wuff comes through the journal, followed by a thump, fwoosh, thwack, and scrabbling against stone surfaces. There's a yelp and then one loud bark, followed by... nothing

[hm hm, walking out the door of the castle to see.......... a flying...... cat.....? asdkhsahghasdgah PANIC MODE KICKS IN, and she hurries to check if the cat is okay]

Super cat? [FIRST NAME THAT POPS TO MIND, THAT IS ONE BADASS CAT AFTER ALL, anyway, she sees the cat jump out of the hay] Whew.... that was intense!

[ Sakura had darted back under the cart when something large came toward her, overloading on her current senses and trying to calm her racing heart. She thinks she recognizes that voice... and peers out between some of the spokes of the wheels, looking up.

That might be Maya!

... Maybe. ]

[she squats down and stares under the cart... poor scared cat :(]

You okay, little guy?

[ She meows... silently. Her mouth is partly opened, and she peeers out at Maya, sniffing. Not that this helps at first; she has no strong scent memory of Maya to ping to! ]

[SO FREAKING CUTE ASDGSAHD;GASDHLH she doesn't know mucha bout cats, but she holds out a hand for kitty to sniff.... THAT'S HOW YOU MAKE FRIENDS WITH CAT? if that doesn't work she'll go get some food]

It's okay, don't be scared. Ace Animal Caretaker Maya is here to take care of you!

[ It was Maya! Sakura doesn't so much sniff at Maya's offered hand as place her paw on top of it. Good friend, HELP HER OUT! Shes small, furry, and overwhelmed.

... And as vocal as ever. She does notice an odd rumbling kicking in. Sakura can't quite register that she's started purring, but that's exactly what is going on right now. ]

[YEP, DOESN'T KNOW THAT YOU'RE BEST FRIENDO SAKURA, BUT YOU ARE ONE ADORABLE CAT ALGKHSADH she smiles and is just... overwhelmed... by the cute... anyway, she looks up again at the window she flew out of, then back at the cat]

I wonder if you're lost... although your owner sounds like a jerk if he let you fall out of a window. [tsk tsk tsk. hmmmmm] Well, maybe we can get you some food and then figure things out from there! You hungry? [she knows the cat can't really answer back, BUT SHE FEELS LIKE SHE SHOUDL ASK... before scooping up the cutie kitty]

[ Sakura shakes her head, wary about this whole situation. Still, she could probably bear up under the indignities. Maya at least wasn't the sort to grab her by the neck fur and take off at a run.

Also, she wasn't likely to eat her. ]
