Yeah. He was like my brother.

[chosengigolo]

Oh...sorry to hear that.

You gonna be alright?

[kyasdaughter]

Yeah. Just wish I had someone to blame. But he wanted to go home.

[chosengigolo]

Then why don't you blame him?

[kyasdaughter]

He was unhappy here. I can't be upset with him wanting to go home.

[chosengigolo]

Even if he wanted to go home, it's not right to leave your friends behind without a word. I'd be mad if my friends did that.

Not saying you gotta be mad at him for long or never forgive him, but if blaming someone is gonna make you feel better right now, then blame him until you feel better. Even if it's only for five minutes or something.

[a pause before he quietly adds]

If you were like a sister to him...he wouldn't mind you being mad at him for a bit if it helped you out.

[kyasdaughter]

[She's sniffling just a little now. Katara's been here over six months now, but this is only the second time she's lost someone that she's actually cared about.]

We were supposed to find a way home together.

[chosengigolo]

[Meanwhile Zelos hasn't been here long, but...he knows what it's like to get left behind. ]

Well, then maybe you can help us out instead. My bud Lloyd and I wanna find a way out so our friend can go home with us instead of getting left again.

Besides, I'd just hate the thought of leaving a beautiful ice princess behind here. ♥

[kyasdaughter]

[And that? That actually manages to catch her off guard. She's crying, certainly, but she gives a startled laugh through it, too.]

Did you just call me an ice princess?

[chosengigolo]

You said you're from a beautiful winter wonderland, right? So an ice princess seems to be a perfect title for you, Katara my dear!

[kyasdaughter]

[.. alright, Zelos, you win. She's giggling softly now.]

You know I'm not actually a princess, though.

[chosengigolo]

[Giggling is good! It's much better than tears]
