Oh no need to thank us. We'll be happy just to see you well.

[While he waits, Eleven rushes around the lab, triple checking that everything is in order]

[Five, meanwhile, is somewhat calmly clearing all the random equipment out of one of the chairs, so that Helen will have a place to sit. one Doctor working on a project gets messy enough, but two? it's a wonder some surfaces are still not covered up by ... Stuff.]

Bonding those extra antimicrobials into the chronon solution seemed to be just the piece we were missing, didn't it ... [he pauses just long enough to look at the formula they've synthesized, and the clean syringes siting near it, waiting for use]

Regardless thank you, both of you. Until James mention you I didn't quite believe this to be possible.

[ And she may be on her way now ]

Thank you for this, both of you. Nikola and I will be there momentarily we are only a floor above you now. I would ask that, you do not inform Helen of our arrival, she is liable to insist on a different time or place if we are there.

[And yup he's up, grabbing Nikola and heading out the door after that.]

And we know Helen, she's liable to think she doesn't need supervision...

[And he follows after James.]

Think it will work?

[He sighs and runs a hand over his beard as he thinks, thankful for the short walk.]

More then likely, they are bloody brilliant according to the entire castle. [Well anyone James trusts.] And, as you know now, one exists in our world, which means it is possible. Does it mean I do not want answers however? No.

Yes, well, you and I both know that brilliance doesn't always end in positive results.

[A slight sigh.] Let's hope we get there before she does.

Hallo, River. I'd ask if you were keeping out of trouble, but. Well.

Such a fast learner. In any case, I've been exploring the changes to the castle that warranted locking us out for a few days.

But of course. Anything new or interesting?

[oh, hey, this is convenient. saves him the trouble of tracking one of them down. he's heard a lot about you, doctor, and he's eager to know more.

so let's have a chat, bro.]

They've been complaining, mostly. Though that doesn't seem to be any grand departure from the norm.

It isn't, really, on the whole. Not everyone's a complainer, though. There's a fair share who try to do something about it.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but I don't recognize your handwriting. Have we spoken before?

[the sad thing he'll never admit is that when it comes to complaining he's the worst of the worst.]

Not directly, no. Still fairly new myself.

Well, then, it's a pleasure to "meet" you. When did you arrive - and how much do you know, already? I'd be happy to fill in whatever holes I can.

I'm afraid so, yes, Kitty. I believe York's updated CastleNet, though, that should make life a little easier.

I'm going to have to check that out, thanks.

How have you been?

Busy. [that one word sounds a lot of tired and a lot of pleased] So much better than sitting around, staring at the proverbial walls and remembering that I can only take my TARDIS as far as this place lets me.
