38. Insert flange A into socket B

Oct 05, 2011 00:34

[Somewhere not far from the castle main doors, there is an angel sat in a pile of leaves with an ancient set of tubes, socket and tarpaulin. He's got some instructions weighted down with a rock and has been studying them intently for the last five hours, repeating the same phrase to himself like a mantra, as though if he said it in just the right way then it would work.]

Insert flange A into socket B, rotate anti-clockwise 45 degrees and then snap into rigid upright position...

[A pause, lengthy and full of the sound of plastic clinking together, bending and ultimately springing free again. Aziraphale sighed before, with infinite patience (that was less infinite and more decidedly finite and almost at an end) repeating the phrase with again with a different intonation.]

Insert flange A into socket B, rotate anti-clockwise 45 degrees and then snap into a rigid upright position.

[Another pause, another set of clinks and the springing plastic-y snap of failure, the the sharp annoyed tones of an angel at the end of his tether.]

Blast this tent, I don't think all the pieces are here!

[ooc: Open as an open thing on open tablets, over the journal or in person!]
