The Twenth-Eighth Day

[When grief really strikes you, it takes ahold of you, and it does not let you go. When you're really missing the person you lost, you don't ever really forget it. And Shiki had spent the past more-than-a-week grieving for Neku. Even though he hadn't died, he still wasn't with her, and it still hurt like all hell.

It's hard to continue the lethargy of grief, however, when you are faced with startling new circumstances that need to be addressed. And it's hard to stay locked up in your room, doing nothing but occasionally speaking to a person or two over the journal when you wake up and find yourself in a pile of leaves outside, along with the rest of Paradisa.

She looks around herself, and then slowly begins to make her way into town, opening up her journal to actively seek conversation with people for the first time in about a week and a half... a week and a half, however, that has felt like months to her.]

Anyone know a good hotel in town?

...One that hopefully isn't already full?
