[Out in front of the castle is a young woman who appears as if she has a bit on her mind. She's sitting on the grass far enough away from the entrance that the occasional wandering animal or two ventures over to visit with her. Castle pets or random strays, it's not a problem.
As she lounges, idly stroking a random cat behind the ears, Daine reaches behind her, feeling around for her journal. Soon enough, it's located and opened for another round of 'idle chatter'. Yayyyyy?]
Myths, legends, folklore... things that aren't supposed to be real. Sometimes they do exist, but they're forgotten, passed down through stories and tales for so long that the reality of them is dismissed as fantasy, the original experience so far gone it's seemingly impossible to recall.
Other times, the details are distorted by the one telling the tale, be it for dramatic effect or to get a message across. [Her voice changes, sounding as if she's about to recite some incredible work of prose that starts with a disclaimer.] 'There's a moral at the end of the story, a lesson to be learned from this, so listen closely...'
[Daine pauses, voice falling back to her previously mellow and slightly curious tone.]
Ancient and all powerful artifacts, a hero who braved the great unknown for the glory of his kingdom, creatures so fierce that not even the sharpest blade or most forceful spell could bring them down. It sounds like a lot, doesn't it? Though, I'm sure most worlds have something like this, right? You don't have to be a child to enjoy the thrill of such tales. [She's silent for a little, journal only capturing the purr of the cat in her lap.]
What sort of stories are present in the worlds represented here? Fact or supposed fiction, I don't mind. I'm curious to hear what's out there.
[OOC: Sharing time is now? :D? Open journal or in person, whatever.]
