I was thinkin' some sorta pot roast and a few things on the side. I ain't got Shepherd Book here to help me with the fancier things, but I still remember a lot of what he taught me.

It wasn't lessons, so much. Just, Shepherd learned a lot of tricks at the abbey and he was willin' to share a lot of it while he was travelin' with us. Sorta informal-like.
