As if things couldn't get odder in the castle, a vendor is parked in the lobby offering ice creams which are named after castle residents. I don't know whether to be rather amused or mildly disturbed by this. I checked and, yes, even though I've moved away from the castle and am currently residing in town, there is still an ice cream flavour

Sounds great! You're probably gonna kick my butt, s'been years since I played. ... And I tried your ice cream, yanno. It was pretty good!

Oh, I don't know about that, I sometimes get some pretty unlucky streaks with the dice.

You did?

[He's a bit surprised, but glad that his flavour isn't unpalatable.]

I'm about to go down and sample some ice cream myself. What does your flavour consist of?

Yeah. I tried all my friends'. Well, as many as I could till I got full. The Doctor's is... kinda fishy, don't try his. Mine is marshmallow, with little Twinkies in it. It's fantastic! There's also this purple swirl of something I can't put my finger on....

But anyway, where're we playin'?

That must have been quite a few.

[Wes is smiling, even if you can't see it you can probably hear it in the tone of his voice.]

That sounds delightful, I shall have to try it.

How does my place sound? I'll provide the food and beverages if you can wish up a set of the game for us. Say, around seven?

Okay! Sounds great, I'll be there.

[and on the dot, he is.... with several variants of Risk loading him down. Disney, Star Wars, Pirate .... and a sheepish smile] I didn't realize there was more than one when I wished. ... it gave me all of 'em.

Action forever (right so thursday night, the girls are having a night at Caritas :D)

Oh my.

[Wes chuckles and gestures for Ray to enter, grabbing the top two boxes to help him. He leads the way into the living room.]

I didn't realise that either. I tend to be a bit of a purist, but I have to say that a pirate version appeals.

As for food, how does Chinese and Pizza sound? There are a couple of places which deliver. I'm afraid my cooking skills leave a lot to be desired.

You're speaking my language, buddy! [he beams as he follows Wes inside, looking around idly] I used to get takeout with the guys all the time.

Can I get you anything to drink? Beer? Soda? Something stronger?

[He sets the board games on the coffee table.]

Also, I can give you the tour if you'd like.

I'll never say no to a brew. [he tucks his hands in his pockets and smiles agreeably, the picture of a polite guest] … or a tour!

[demonologist]

We can do both at once. Follow me.

[Wes moves towards the kitchen and heads to the refrigerator to fetch them both cold beers. Taking a swig from his bottle, he gesures around the kitchen.]

It's a bit big, considering my lack of culinery skills, but Fred has been offering to teach me.

....help me out, are they in town or in the tower? /derp

Oh, hey, this is a really nice kitchen. [he grins, looking around as he pops open his beer]

I get the feeling she'd be the best teacher - she makes really good breakfasts, I remember that much. ... What've you guys been up to, anyway? I feel like I haven't seen you in ages.

In town, wes has his own place :D

She does indeed make wonderful breakfasts.

[Wes takes a sip of his beer.]

Not a lot, really. We got locked in a tower for a week with some of our other friends while the Riful conflict was raging. There was that recent strangeness with the rooms at the castle turning into people's headspaces, were you caught up in that at all?

I was, yah ... I didn't really go into anyone else's rooms outta a sorta courtesy, I guess. But I know a few've my friends wandered into mine.

[he smiles, not seeming bothered at all by the thought of somewhat new acquaintances wandering around in his psyche]
