As if things couldn't get odder in the castle, a vendor is parked in the lobby offering ice creams which are named after castle residents. I don't know whether to be rather amused or mildly disturbed by this. I checked and, yes, even though I've moved away from the castle and am currently residing in town, there is still an ice cream flavour

What kind of flavour would you rather have had? I think it's very fitting. In fact reading the description made me want to order one immediately.

And I don't know. Something more...exciting, I guess. You've got dark chocolate at least.

I'm being perfectly serious. It sounds just right for what it's trying to describe. Almost onomatopoeiac.

Cinnamon is not exciting? It's a spice. And forgive me for saying so but I've never heard of an ice cream with pie crust and apple filling in it before. So for me it's extremely original.

And appetising too.

...anyway, you can put just about anything in ice cream. That's the point. What kind of ice cream were they feeding you in England?

The boring unimaginative kind, apparently.

No, actually. I haven't completely settled on what I want yet.

[She sees what you're doing there]

I rather was hoping we'd try each other's flavours. But there's no reason we have to confine ourselves to just one each.

[Of course. It's just about ice cream. Fred's telling herself that even now]

Well, you know how I get around any proper amount of food.

Meet you down in the lobby in ten?

I live here, and it's ice cream. I can be down in five.

[Wes doesn't take long to get to the lobby, he'd been in the castle himself, which had cut down on traveling time. He smiles when he sees her approaching.]

I knew that appealing to your stomach would be a good incentive to see me.

...wait. [She clearly takes not that he managed to beat her, somehow] You're here too?

I just came for the ice cream.

[There's a whisper of a smile. Someone's still holding onto the smallest bit of a grudge for that move in front of is dresser one night]

Oh, I see. That will teach me for being presumptuous.

[He knows she's teasing, though, and gives her a faintly amused look.]

So, have you decided on whom you're going to taste?

[There's no doubt in his mind that Winifred Burkle is the first on his list.]
