That's my thinking. I mean, I can see substantial things being taken as a loss. Precious items, and the like. But how the hell can you take someone's ability away? And better yet-- how do you prevent them from reobtaining that ability? Because, I swear, if I have to grit my teeth for hours every night to forcefully reteach myself how to design architecture, then that is exactly what I'm going to do.

Well... there should be in the library, but. [He presses his lips together.] I don't feel like I've forgotten it, you know? It's more like.... I can't apply what I know anymore. I just.. blank out.

Whenever someone comes into Paradisa, something's taken from them. Something-- precious. And as you can see from my own experiences, it doesn't have to be something substantial. I'm an architect, and ever since I've got here, I've had no end of trouble trying to draw my plans out.
