[ Raenef takes two very important things away from this: he really enjoys pie and.. there is a town here? Thankfully, it's easy enough to find once he peers out his window so, in half an hour, there is (1) bright-eyed teenage boy waltzing into the Pie Hole. But there's one very troubling question on his mind. He's mostly talking to himself but he isn't exactly quiet about it! ]

Is Chuck a mister, or a miss?

[Chuck laughs out loud when she pokes her head out from the back, eyebrows lifted.]

Chuck is a miss!

[admonishes]

[ Totally busted. He might even join in on her laughter for a second or two, looking completely sheepish. ]

And you must be her! Hello, Miss Chuck!

That's right.

[She doesn't mind so much, still grinning as she wipes her hands on her apron.]

I'm at a slight disadvantage -- I don't seem to know your name.

[admonishes]

Oh, yeah! My name is Raenef! I've actually only been here for a few days! Two, to be exact.

[ he laughs, rubbing at the back of his neck ]

Mostly, I saw your ad and came because I really, really like pie!

[His enthusiasm makes her smile, and she leans back against the counter.]

Well, if you really, really like pie, then a pie shop's probably the place you need to be!

[Her tone is gently teasing, and she nods her head over to the display of pies under glass cases.]

What kind would you like?

[admonishes]

[ it takes his all not to press his face against the glass. all those tasty looking pies! ]

Which one is your favorite?

[She grins a little at him.]

Try the pumpkin.

[admonishes]

Pumpkin it is, then! .. Oh!

[ he digs around in a pocket for a moment before pulling out some moola ]
