[he looks at his box, but stays quiet. he couldn't possibly force her to leave, and a part of him wants to show her... but at the same time, he doesn't want him to know that he has these things. no one should know.
though he's mostly just afraid that he'll end up hurting her somehow. he can't help it (not entirely true), so he just... does nothing.]

[Oh boy, this is awkward. And freaky. And making her nervous for some reason. Of course after this long, Asuka knows she's important--but with all her insecurities, she needs the reminders. And sometimes the reminders are more unnerving than flattering.
After a very long few moments, she holds it out to hand it back.]
[he takes it back and puts it in his little box. he's not sure where the lid's gone off to; he knows he had one before he came here. he pulls it closer, the action coming off as defensive more than anything.]
