[Coraline's headspace is pretty much just nightmare fuel. If you look back after entering, you'll find the door has shrunk to the size so small that an adult would barely fit through. But if you looked forward, you'd see the tunnel that extends out to another door.

[She's been sitting on her plain bed for a while, just staring at the clothes and their ever-changing words. For how long, she doesn't really remember or care]

Hey, what are you doing in here? [Why the heck didn't you turn around like a lot of other people probably have?]

[nocturnalrage]

[Toothless' head fins perk up at the familiar voice, and with a gentle croon, he makes his way over to Coraline, thrusting his muzzle into her small hand. Are you okay?]

[explorationist]

[She pats his head carefully. You feel scaly and awesome] I don't like what this place is doing right now is all. I need to get out of here.

[nocturnalrage]

[Toothless withdraws at her words, giving a small sound as he nudges Coraline, then stands up and motions his head over towards the door. That's the way he came in, so that must be the way to go out.

Whether or not that's reality is another thing.]

[explorationist]

Yeah, but I don't really want to go through there either. [She looked, but she couldn't bring herself to go through]

[nocturnalrage]

[A sympathetic croon. He won't push you, Coraline. That stuff was downright scary unnerving.

Instead, he clambers onto the bed and curls around her before laying down and putting his head on her lap.]

[Coraline smiles a tiny smile and pets his head again. It's so big in her tiny lap!]

You're pretty domesticated for a dragon, you know.

[Toothless doesn't respond. He doesn't know what 'domesticated' is. Doesn't sound like a bad thing, though, so he'll roll with it. He closes his eyes, his chest rising and falling steadily with his breaths.]
