[Room 304 has undergone quite a few changes. Most noticeably, it’s not really so much of a room anymore, as it is its own little world.

Anyone who enters will find themselves in a beautiful old forest, surrounded by Mallorn trees, their golden leaves shining as the starlight hits them. And starlight it is, for there is no moon. But it should not be difficult to see; these stars are brighter than most would be used to. One in particular stands out: Eärendil, the most beloved star of the Elves. A low, soft singing in languages unknown to most fills the woods. It’s melancholy and yet comforting- hopeful somehow, despite the sorrow.

A little further into the room is a clearing in the woods and, further still, the forest somehow fades into a beach. It shouldn’t be possible, but it seems natural somehow- the waves hitting the shore, the smell of salt in the air, the sound of gulls- it fits. Far out across the ocean one can see white shores. The land beyond them is impossible to make out in detail. All except two trees which, inexplicably, can be seen as clearly as if they were only inches away. Each of them glows, radiating a light that is more than light- one silver and the other gold.

However peaceful this scene may seem, visitors will not be alone. All throughout the clearing and along the beach, transparent, misty figures go about their business, enacting things that Galadriel has borne witness to, either in person or in her mind. Past, present, and future mingle together, overlapping in the most complex patterns, almost impossible to separate. Occasionally, certain figures become more solid, others fade, and the surroundings change to suit the moment. These times seem to vary depending on who is in the space- the figures may even attempt to interact with the visitors. Or they may ignore them unless approached. Quite a bit depends on how the owner of this particular mind thinks of you.

The Lady herself will be in and out. She recognized what this was almost immediately, of course, being more aware of the nature of her own mind than most. Galadriel wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity to investigate the minds of others, but she’s not going to leave hers unguarded for long.]
